Thank you for organizing this hackathon!

I have been participating in, studying about, and leading events related to hackathons for more than a year now. As a full stack developer, founder, and developer advocate, I care about hackathons getting better, and think it's great that you put on this event.

One of the best parts of your structure was making it so inclusive that even though I couldn't work with a team, and got COVID for a whole week before the deadline, I was still able to participate and express my idea.

One of the worst parts (maybe!) was the confusion about working on teams, and the many disappointed people that were hoping to gain a friend, mentor, colleague, or employer from the teamwork aspect that most people (myself included) assume are part of the hackathon experience. I wonder if any of them ended up forming a team and working together anyways. That would be pretty cool and I'd like to hear their stories (as well as about some of the winning ideas), on a documentary about hackathons, such as the metaHackathon (check my project to see what that's all about!).

One of the standout moments was the surprise workshop, that was really cool. It came out while I was really sick, so I haven't caught it yet, but I saw that you had fun trivia and were live with people to ask questions and help people out, so I plan to watch it when I'm caught up on stuff.

Thanks again y'all!

You are very welcome! We are thrilled that you were able to participate and it is great to hear it was inclusive for you. Thank you for the feedback about teamwork - we will try to make that more clear if we do it again
